Emeli Sandé album launch, Shoreditch
Three cameras, cut live and recorded, with recordings to management the same evening.
The job
Emeli Sandé's management wanted her album launch to an invited audience captured on camera, in an underground members' club venue.
What we did
After a couple of calls about coverage, we advised on stage layout and backdrop. We worked alongside the lighting designer and Emeli’s touring sound engineer.
We loaded in first thing, spent the afternoon on test recordings and camera blocking, then kept out of the way as the audience arrived.
Outcome
Emeli performed the album to around 100 people. We cut the show live and handed the whole show and every camera angle to her management on an SSD that evening.
