Roving multi-stage coverage, Nice
A three-camera crew moving between stages, recording, streaming and feeding relay screens.

The job
A telecoms event in Nice ran sessions on several stages. Our client needed guest speakers and panels recorded, streamed for promotion and shown on relay screens to draw people to its stand.
What we did
This was roving coverage: one compact crew and control table that moved from stage to stage as production management called us. At each stage we took an audio feed from the conference AV supplier, placed three cameras around the space and set up our control table discreetly at the back of the audience.
The client shared the schedule in a Google Sheet. A week before the show we ran a 30-minute Zoom test to confirm the layouts of their assets.
On site we took three hours to set up and two to test with the client’s team, then stayed out of the way until we were sent to the next stage.
Outcome
Every session was captured and streamed as it happened, with content on the relay screens making the stand more attractive.
