Three cameras feeding the LED screens either side of the main stage, all weekend.
The job
Maiden Voyage needed live video of every main-stage act on the LED screens either side of the stage and around the festival site.
What we did
We ran 200-metre fibre cables from front of house and the stage back to a control room behind the main stage. Three cameras covered every act: a wide from front of house, an operated long lens from the same position, and a super-wide on stage with the artists.
We loaded in on the Thursday and ran from Friday evening through Sunday. Between acts the screens showed the festival logo and adverts. Text announcements and emergency signage were ready in case site health and safety needed them.
Outcome
Every main-stage act appeared live on the LED walls across the weekend, with a recording kept for the client's records.
