Live Band Performance
Using 4 cameras and multitracked audio to create a complete live set ready for the artist to break into highlights or track-by-track
Here we went to a venue in West Cambridge and captured a 4-camera live-cut recording of the band’s performance.
The audio was multitrack recorded by the bands sound engineer then provided to us, and the cameras were cut live with ISO recordings (individual camera angle recordings stored as safety)
We then created a draft audio mix from the multitracks which was combined with the video footage, sent this through to the band to select which tracks they wanted to focus on, and that dictated a second refinement round of audio mixing.
- Customer reached out stating their show date, venue, access and load in times
- They then requested that it all be recorded and cut live, with multitrack audio so that we could refine the audio mix ready to create videos
- We had a phonecall talking through any must-haves and artist and management preferences
- Moingo arrives on site at midday, setting up 4 cameras and a control station out the way of the sold-out audience
- Having tested recordings, audio and comms, we then sit ready to capture the show, getting our cue to start recording from the band’s sound engineer
- We pack down and leave once the room has cleared of audience after the encore
