IMAG Live Coverage for Festival Main Stage
Using multiple cameras to send to stage LED Screens for live audience
Here we used 3 cameras for stage coverage of the main stage so that live video could be shown around the festival site, and on the LED screens either side of the stage
We loaded in on the Thursday, ready to send video feeds to the LED Wall engineers and were then on site Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday, keeping a recording of the coverage for the customers’ own records, but mainly providing live camera links to the LED walls across a host of artists.
This included a wide camera shot from the front of house (FOH) position, as well as an operated long lens from there and a super wide angle camera on stage with the artists to really highlight the performances for everyone
- Customer emailed us 4 months in advance to make sure everything was lined up for their budgetting
- Customer let us know access, parking, load in times, any site restrictions and sent through their branding assets
- Event Capture UK arrives on site on the Friday, bringing 200 meter-long fibre cables to be able to reach to front of house, stage and back to a temporary office with control behind the main stage area
- Coverage is then of any acts on the main stage, with a video logo and adverts showing when no act is on stage
- We’re able to show any text announcements if required and had emergency signage stored up just in case site health & safety required it
- We pack down and leave once the final act has concluded and audience have cleared the main arena
